Features: Also known as a variegated eureka lemon due to the fact that it’s a sport of a standard Eureka lemon. Originally discovered on a tree in Burbank, California and the cultivar was further propagated throughout the state. A sport is a morphological difference from the rest of a plant that can occasionally exhibit desirable variations in the standard plant.  In this case pink flesh and variegated skin.

Species: Citrus limon (Pink Variegated Variety)

Origin: Burbank, California

Flavor Profile: The flavor is similar to a regular lemon but slightly sweeter and not quite as aggressively sour.

Spec: The fruit is like the average lemon size but covered in green and yellow variegations and flesh is bright pink. 

Season: Late spring to mid-summer
